Brembo Brake Kit for your '01 Acura TL:
Comptech has engineered and manufactured the Acura Brembo Evolution brake kits in conjunction with Brembo. These kits use the same cross-drilled cadmium plated rotors that are used on numerous championship winning racecars. We make all of the Brembo hats and brackets using only 6061-T6 billet aluminum, not cast aluminum like so many other companies do. They require 6061-T6 billet because it is 10 times stronger than cast aluminum. The billet aluminum hats and caliper mounts are vehicle specific and are machined to exacting specifications. The hats and rotors combine to create a "floating" disc which improves brake performance and feel, while reducing heat related stress. Brembo`s aluminum 4-piston directional calipers utilize sequentially sized (36mm & 40mm) pistons to reduce tapered wear of the brake pads. The calipers are DOT approved and incorporate dust seals on the pistons to extend the service life between rebuilds, something that other brands of racing calipers do not provide. These kits will let you make stops from high speed all day long without overheating the brakes. These kits are for front-only, and include the black "Lotus" calipers, hats, rotors, pads, brackets, hardware, and front braided stainless brake lines.
